Start with the formula

Korean rice cake and tteokbokki stick are commercial search terms, but they do not prove rice content. Ask for each starch source, percentage, salt and complete additive declaration.

If the selected formula lists potato starch without rice, use a legal product name that accurately describes the food in the destination market.

Approve physical and sensory targets

Specify diameter, length, piece weight, colour, surface condition and broken tolerance for the uncooked sticks.

Set cooked chewiness, softness, sauce absorption, sticking and holding performance against a representative retained sample.

Confirm process, storage and shelf life

Establish whether the selected SKU is shelf-stable, chilled or frozen and record its validated processing and packaging basis.

Treat the 12-month and cool, dry references as SKU-specific leads until the formula, process, pack and shelf-life evidence are approved.

Write the packaging hierarchy

For a 270 g bag, state bag material, seal, bags per carton, net and gross weight, carton dimensions, coding, pallet pattern and loading data.

Reject impossible references such as a gross weight below the stated net weight and verify dimensions through a packing trial.

Important: Product specifications, import rules and required documents vary by SKU and destination. Confirm the applicable requirements with the selected supplier, importer and qualified local advisers before ordering or printing labels.
