Define the mochi format

Specify whether the product is filled or unfilled, the wrapper style, piece shape, dimensions, weight, count, colour and filling percentage.

Use a retained sample for texture, filling distribution, sweetness and surface acceptance rather than relying on the word mochi alone.

Close formula and allergens

Confirm rice or glutinous-rice content, other starches, filling, sweeteners, oils, colours, flavours and additives in legal ingredient order.

Review milk, soy, sesame, peanut, tree-nut, wheat and factory cross-contact declarations for every flavour SKU.

Select the storage program

Ambient, chilled, frozen and ice-cream mochi are different supply programs. Confirm unopened storage, after-opening or thawing instructions and distribution temperature.

Connect the eight-month reference to the approved formula, process, package and shelf-life evidence.

Write the packaging hierarchy

For 180 g bags or 36-piece boxes, state piece count and weight, individual wrap or tray, units per carton, net and gross weight, dimensions, coding and pallet data.

Separate stock-item MOQ from private-label production MOQ and confirm printed-material lead time.
