What are dried bean curd sticks?

Dried bean curd sticks are made by collecting the thin layer that forms on heated soy milk and drying it into a shelf-stable format. The sticks are soaked before cooking and are widely used in hot pot, braised dishes, soups and stir-fries.

The supplied procurement reference describes a light-yellow long-stick product with a 100% soybean reference formulation. Final composition and appearance must still be checked against the selected factory specification and approved sample.

Why do buyers see several product names?

Yuba, fuzhu, tofu skin and bean curd sticks are related market names, but suppliers may use them for different shapes, folds and thicknesses. A product name alone is not a complete purchase specification.

State whether long sticks, sheets, knots or another format are required, then define dimensions, colour, surface condition and permitted broken material.

Confirm ingredients and allergen information

Soy is the defining raw material and must be declared as an allergen. Buyers should request the complete ingredient statement, processing-aid information and factory cross-contact declaration before approving artwork.

Claims such as non-GMO, high protein or additive-free should only be used when they are supported by the approved specification, label and applicable evidence.

Important: Product specifications, import rules and required documents vary by SKU and destination. Confirm the applicable requirements with the selected supplier, importer and qualified local advisers before ordering or printing labels.
